Little Texas Stars serves families at our Weatherford and Peaster centers. This policy explains how we handle information provided by parents and guardians when asking about care, requesting a tour, or contacting us through our website, Facebook, or Instagram.

Information you provide

Our website inquiry forms ask for your preferred center, parent or guardian name, email address, phone number, child's age, preferred tour date or desired start date, and any message or questions you choose to provide. Through Facebook or Instagram inquiries, messages, or enrollment lead forms, we receive the contact details and inquiry information you submit through those channels.

Please provide only what is needed for your inquiry. Do not send payment card details, Social Security numbers, medical records, or other sensitive documents through website inquiry forms or social media messages. These channels are intended for parents and guardians, rather than for children to submit information themselves.

How we use inquiries

We use inquiry information to answer questions about our programs, tuition, and availability; follow up on your interest in enrollment; arrange and confirm tours; and help with the next steps toward enrollment. A requested tour date is a preference and must be confirmed by the center.

Our current use of inquiry contact information is enrollment follow-up. Submitting an inquiry does not enroll your child or sign you up for a separate promotional mailing or texting list. You may ask us to stop enrollment follow-up at any time.

Who handles information and where it goes

Within Little Texas Stars, website and social media inquiries are handled by the director and management. We do not sell personal information.

Website tour and enrollment submissions are emailed to the selected center, and the website keeps a server-side inquiry history outside the public website directory. Hosting and email services process information to deliver and store those submissions. Facebook and Instagram inquiries are also processed through Meta's services and are subject to Meta's own privacy practices. The fact that a service provider processes information is separate from who handles inquiries within our business.

Brightwheel upon enrollment

Families begin using Brightwheel upon enrollment. Enrollment information is handled through that process rather than by treating a website or social media inquiry as a completed enrollment. Families use Brightwheel for communication, child updates and photos, check-in and check-out, billing, and payments. Brightwheel's own privacy policy and terms also apply to its service. Contact your center if you have questions about the information needed for enrollment or your family's records.

Website and third-party services

Website hosting systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and pages requested as part of operating and securing the website. Facebook, Instagram, Brightwheel, and other external services you choose to visit handle information under their own policies, including any cookies or similar technologies they use. This policy describes Little Texas Stars' inquiry practices and does not control those providers' independent practices.

How long information is kept

We do not currently set one fixed deletion deadline for all inquiries. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, ongoing enrollment discussions, necessary business recordkeeping, and applicable legal requirements. Inquiry records may remain after an initial conversation ends; they are not automatically deleted when a family does not enroll. We aim to retain personal information only while reasonably needed for those purposes.

You may contact us to request deletion of an old inquiry. We will review the request, verify identity where appropriate, and explain any information that must be retained for legal or other legitimate requirements. Enrollment records may have different retention requirements from initial inquiries.

Your questions and choices

Contact your center to ask about your inquiry information, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop contacting you. Please do not send sensitive identification documents with an initial request. We will let you know if additional verification is needed. Requests about information held independently by Meta or Brightwheel may also need to be directed to that provider.

We may update this policy as our practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
